The are a number of allied staff, utilised by the practice to improve patient care
Quality Improvement Team
Bernie and Hannah work closely with Ali Howkins, the Data Quality lead for the practice. They are involved in the flow of patient information between services that patients use, and when patients join the surgery for the first time ensure that all the patient's information is available for the clinicians to manage the patients appropriately.
A number of patients require ongoing management for various conditions, and this team is responsible for ensuring that the patients are invited to, and attend, various consultations to enable the safe management of these conditions.
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
