I grew up in South Africa and completed my medical training at The University of The Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1989. After moving to the United Kingdom in 1993 to continue my work and training, I completed my GP training at Bartlemas Surgery in 1996 when I obtained my MRCGP. I then became a partner in a GP Practice in London where for ten years apart from providing GP care, I also provided medical care to a residential Alcohol Detoxification centre, medical care to a number of Homeless Centres in central London and worked for the local out-of-hours service. I also trained and worked as a Forensic Medical Examiner for several years in central London. I obtained the Postgraduate Certificate for Teachers in Primary Care through the University of Westminster in 2007 and was pleased to return to Bartlemas Surgery as a Partner and Trainer, in that same year. I greatly enjoy my role as a GP trainer. I have an interest in and enthusiasm for supporting patients with Diabetes and other Long Term Medical Conditions. I am the also the practice Oxford Clinical Commissioning Group lead GP. I enjoy travelling and experiencing the wonders of what cultures around the world have to offer all of us, while also re-invigorating myself through yoga and gardening.
Dr Fleischman sees patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
